New Stretch Goal: Pocket Clip at $50K!

Hey Backers,
We’ve continued to build a great backer team this week, reaching nearly eight times our original goal! We already upgraded EDGE from a thumb knob to a flip tab, but we want to do more. Many backers have requested a pocket clip, so we’re announcing a $50,000 stretch goal to add one!
Because no existing clips are compatible with EDGE, we need to create a custom clip mould, which will have its own production costs and minimum order quantity. At $50,000 we should also hit about 1,000 backers, which is the sweet spot for us to get the pocket clip going. You can keep this campaign on the cutting edge by spreading the word on social media, upgrading your reward to a set, and giving this post a like to let us know you’re on board.

Hey Backers,
You’ve come through once again: in only 24 hours we have more than tripled our initial goal! Thank you to the many returning backers who continue to support ZeroHour. You recognize our quality and cutting edge designs, and this inspires us to keep pushing ourselves as we create the best everyday carry essentials for you.
UPGRADES + ACCESSORIES
Our first adjustment to the EDGE prototype will be to upgrade the thumb knob to a flip tab. As has been noted, the thumb knob can require more effort to open; the flip tab feels more ergonomic, and we have been wanting to implement this upgrade since we received the prototype. Due to the strong initial launch, we are moving forward with this upgrade!
We also received a number of comments requesting a pocket clip for EDGE, and we love the idea. This will require small design changes to the body at the top. Because no existing clips on the market are compatible with our mighty, micro knife, we will also need to create a custom clip mould, which will have its own production costs and minimum order quantity. We'll pursue this suggestion and will likely announce this upgrade as a stretch goal when we have a better idea of costs.
We’re also gearing up to develop other accessories and add-ons, which we hope to announce soon. Keep your great ideas coming!
DELIVERY CLARIFICATION
While our campaign proposal Timeline correctly states a JANUARY 2018 DELIVERY, our rewards listings mistakenly published November 2017 as an estimated delivery date. We are unable to make changes to reward listings post-launch, so we want to make clear that January 2018 is the original and correct target. We need this time in order to make final adjustments to our prototype, develop related accessories that backers are requesting, and complete quality assurance testing. We always do our best to accelerate delivery and we'll deliver earlier if we can.
